Bugonia

After Poor Creatures (2023) e Types of Kindness (2024), Emma Stone continues her partnership with Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos and undergoes an impressive transformation. In the role of a powerful CEO, she is kidnapped by two conspiracists who see her as an infiltrated alien, shave her hair and leave her locked in the basement. Over the course of days of kidnapping, she has to do everything she can to either prove her humanity or outwit Teddy’s (Jesse Plemons) schemes.

It Was Just an Accident

Winner of the Palme d’Or at the 2025 Cannes Festival, Iranian Jafar Panahi’s film follows a series of mistakes that transform the lives of its five central characters. The film is France’s official selection for the 2026 Oscars and carries with it the weight of its filmmaker, politically persecuted within his home country and finally free to leave after 14 years of ban. At the Exhibition, Panahi will be honored with the Humanity Award, which he will receive in hand.

Frankenstein
Sessions on October 16th, 18th and 20th

Guillermo del Toro’s award-winning adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic, Frankenstein is a feast for the eyes, filled with sumptuous sets and extravagant costumes. Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi take on the roles of creator and creature, respectively, while Mia Goth and Christoph Waltz shine as secondary characters.

More than 60 years after the genesis of Nouvelle Vague — a French cinematographic movement that put young rebels behind the cameras — American Richard Liklater recreates its central figures and events in a nostalgic way.
