Ema Stokholma inaugurates the Rome Film Festival 2025

Ema Stokholma is the protagonist of the inaugural day of the Rome Film Festival 2025, which opened on Wednesday 15 October and will continue until the 26th. The Italian-French DJ, presenter and actress was the first to walk the red carpet, welcoming the public and guests in the role of godmother and presenter of the twentieth edition of the event.

Visibly emotional, Stokholma told Roma Today: “My heart is beating very fast, it hasn’t happened to me in a while”. From the red carpet she recalled her bond with the capital: “I am Roman by adoption – she explains – when I arrived as a teenager this city loved me and I love her. It is an honor to be able to present this event”.

When asked who chose not to participate in the party due to the Palestinian issue, the presenter replied: “The art must do the talking. I will limit myself to presenting, I will let those who can do it better than me speakFor the occasion, Stokholma wore a yellow ocher damask dress decorated with a shower of glittering coins, paired with gold metallic leather shoes.

Other well-known faces from cinema and entertainment were also on the red carpet. Rita Rusic chose a total red look, while Tiziana Rocca opted for a more classic dress. The director is more sober Giulio Basepresent with his wife Rocca. Also among those present at the opening night Diego Abatantuono, Paola Cortellesi, Cristina Marino and Luca Argentero, Roberto Bolle and Luisa Ranieri, who inaugurated with their presence the twentieth edition of the Rome Film Festival.
