Rio 2025 Festival: Little Creatures and Ato Noturno are the big winners – Cinema news

The winners of the 27th edition of the Rio Festival were revealed last Sunday (12), with emphasis on Pequenas Criaturas.

O Rio Festival 2025 came to an end last Sunday (12) with the award ceremony for the winners of the 27th edition at Cine Odeon. The highlight was Small Creatures, which won the Redeemer Trophy for Best Fiction Feature Film.

Starring Carolina Dieckmmann and directed by Anne Pinheiro Guimarães, Pequenas Criaturas also won the award for Best Art Direction. Also standing out was Ato Noturno, by Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon, winner of four categories at the Rio Festival: Redeemers for Best Actor (Gabriel Faryas), Best Screenplay, Best Photography and the Felix Award for Best Brazilian Film.
